A rather macabre bookshelf display from a monastery in Meteora, Greece seemed rather fitting for this weeks spooky travel theme.
Do these rolling clouds suggest that we’re in for another Independence Day movie?
And what’s your thought on orbs, simple dust particles or paranormal activity?
And just for fun, my dogs showing off their best spooked looks just in time for Halloween (you may need to click on these to see them to their full effect)…

hehehe…
(Should I be laughing?!) I just can’t think of your dogs as anything but big softies! Hugs! Sharon
Haha yes! You’re absolutely right of course they’re just big softies, a bit of acting on their part I think, they’re quite good at it aren’t they! Hope all is well, hugs x
Check that post: http://stanzebla.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ Don’t worry, if you got no time or already got six stars or something. It’s rather meant as a “thank you” from my part.
Thank you for the nomination, it’s much appreciated
I love those dog photos; spooky and goofy!
Hehe yes, especially the close-up of Billy, very freaky!
That is one scary bookcase but hubby would just LOVE it! Me, no so much
Oooooh! Some of those are spooky!
That bookcase of skulls is very spooky. Whose skulls are they and why display them in a bookcase? The dogs are certainly getting in on the act too….
If I remember rightly, they’re the skulls of the former inhabitants of the monasteries. I think I’ll stick to books on my bookcase!
Macabre, for sure! Very creepy…so perfect!
Thank you
Love the creepy pics!
Thanks, I’m slightly concerned with how easily my dogs slipped into their creepy roles though!
Last picture. Has my Spotty come over to visit? She did go out in the middle of the night and not come in for ages. (So much like my Spotty’s pose. if I didn’t know better it could be her.)
I wondered who the guys were playing with that day!
That’s spooky in itself isn’t it?
